Bishops Park Children’s Centre provides a range of services and support for children under 5 and their families resident in the borough of Hammersmith and Fulham. The centre is managed by The Pre-school Learning Alliance, a national educational charity, and funded by Hammersmith and Fulham council.
Regular activities at the centre include -
Stay and Play session each weekday morning, Monday-Friday 10am-12pm, where mothers, fathers and carers can play and learn alongside their children. The children have access to a range of activities such as painting, glue crafts, water play, books, singing, home corner and outdoor play. The activities incorporate the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and Every Child Matters guidance.
Fathers Club every Saturday morning 10am - 12pm. Open to all dads and their children up to age 5, this is a drop in session, no need to book.
Baby Group takes place each Tuesday afternoon from 1.30pm-3.30pm. Come along and meet other new mums. This session also provides informal support and advice along with singing and games. Siblings are welcome.
Cook and Play sessions run every Thursday from 1.30pm-3.30pm where we have healthy cooking activities for adults and children. Childminders and foster carers are particularly welcome to these sessions.
