Improvements to Fulham Library

Hammersmith and Fulham libraries have extended the “More Than a Library” brand to Fulham Library. This brand which was developed over the last two years at the new Shepherds Bush Library and Askew Road Library will include the following improvements:

  • Providing self service machines to reduce queues and customer waiting time, releasing staff to floor walk around the library offering more help to customers
  • Uniforms will also be introduced so that staff can be easily identified
  • Changing the locations of the Children’s and Teenage areas so that services to these two groups of library customers can be developed and enhanced
  • Buying new books and other stock for the library
  • Introducing comfortable seating areas for reading or study

This library is near Parsons Green District Line station, about 50 metres from the junction of Parsons Green Lane and Fulham Road.
