In year admission arrangements from September 2010

Hammersmith & Fulham is the admissions authority for all community primary and secondary schools in the borough. From September 2010 local authorities have taken over responsibility for coordinating primary admissions within the school year. Our admissions team coordinate all ‘in year’ or ‘casual’ admissions for schools within the borough and for borough residents who are new to the area and want places in Hammersmith & Fulham or out-of-borough schools. (Voluntary aided schools are their own admissions authorities and will continue to make decisions as to whether or not applicants meet their admissions criteria.) The school admissions service

The school admissions section works with parents and schools to coordinate the entry of children into primary school and transfer to secondary school in Hammersmith & Fulham.

We offer advice, information and guidance to parents on all aspects of starting and changing school.
