Cemeteries, crematorium and memorials

Death and bereavement - information on what happens when someone dies.

Our cemeteries office at Fulham Town Hall deals with funeral bookings, memorial applications, and management of our cemeteries. We also hold the burial records here. We use four cemeteries. Two are in current use: North Sheen Cemetery is the largest and just across the road is Mortlake Cemetery. Both cemeteries lie on Clifford Avenue and Lower Richmond Road, either side of the junction at Chalkers Corner. Our two other cemeteries are no longer available for new private graves and the only burials are into an existing family grave. These are located in Fulham Palace Road and Margravine Road (behind Charing Cross Hospital - opened 1869).
