The parking services call centre and telephone helpline (020 7371 5678) will close from 4pm on Friday 22 December and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
Adult social care and children’s services
Both services will be closed over the bank holidays. Otherwise normal opening hours will apply.
If you are concerned about the safety of an adult, young person or child because of suspected abuse or neglect outside of normal opening times, please phone our out of hours line on 020 8748 8588.
If you have an immediate concern for the wellbeing of an adult, child or young person, call the police on 999.
Cost-of-living help
The cost-of-living helpline will be closed on 25, 26 December and on Monday 1 January 2024.
The helpline will be operating from 9am to 5pm on 22, 27, 28 and 29 December and from 8am to 6pm on 2 January 2024.
The help centre at 145 King Street, Hammersmith will be closed from 5pm on 22 December until 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Customer service centre
The customer service centre will close at 5pm on Friday 22 December and reopen at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
Register office
Our register office at Beavor Lane is closed on Monday 25 December.
On Sunday 24 and Tuesday 26 December the register office will be closed except for an emergency telephone burial service.
The office will be open from 9am to 4pm on Wednesday 27, Thursday 28 and Friday 29 December.
On Sunday 31 December and Monday 1 January 2024 the register office will be closed except for an emergency telephone burial service.

Libraries
Please check your library’s information page for opening hours information.
You can renew library items online, or renew library items via our app or by calling our automated service on 020 7361 3610. All our libraries have a 24 hour returns service.
Duty planner
The duty planner service will be closed from Friday 22 December and will reopen on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
Noise and nuisance service
Our noise and nuisance service does not operate on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
Electoral services
Electoral services is closed from 5pm on Friday 22 December and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
Housing repairs
If you need to report a repair our housing repair customer service centre will be open every working day from 9am to 5pm to take your call.
Emergency cover will be provided over the holiday period.
Council tenants and leaseholders should call 0800 023 4499. Tenants in temporary accommodation should call 020 8748 8588.
