Hammersmith & Fulham’s riverside is rich in heritage and has array of excellent arts and hospitality businesses – although it is still a hidden gem for many residents.
River-front businesses have joined to form a business group with the aims of turning the riverfront into a H&F year-round leisure destination. They want to attract more residents, visitors and local businesses to spend time along the riverfront and sample its beautiful views, food, drink, nature and culture.
The group has put in place a clear action plan, with a focus on branding, marketing and a public wayfinding art signage scheme.
On 3 December 2023 the group organised a day of running, music, treats and market stalls located at Riverside Studios. This first Festive Fun River Run raised funds to encourage more people with less financial resources to take part in rowing on the river Thames.
