Smoke free H&F
From 1 July 2007 virtually all enclosed public places and workplaces in England became smokefree. This includes offices, pubs, clubs, cafes, restaurants and work vehicles. Further information about Going Smoke Free is available here.
Raising the age of tobacco sales
From 1 October 2007 it became illegal for retailers to sell tobacco products to anyone under the age of 18 (an increase from 16) in England and Wales.
