Removal and clearance of defective building work materials

Dangerous road work sites may include those where there are insufficient barriers, collapsed barriers, materials or excavators outside the enclosed areas. 

These sites may be the responsibility of either the council or of utility companies who have a statutory right to work in the public highway.  

If you can identify the company responsible for the works, you may wish to report  hazards to them directly:
