Travel awareness
Events
The Transport Planning Team at Hammersmith & Fulham Council is working closely with Transport for London to promote greener modes of transport. Part of this work is to organise activities around national and London wide events such as the Bike Week and Walk to Work day.
We are present on many general festivals across the borough, Christmas Markets in Fulham and Hammersmith Town Centres, Greenfest West London or Sands End Fete to speak to you about your ideas and concerns. We can also provide you with local maps, cycle training, useful merchandise, information about setting up a car sharing database and ‘Dr.Bikes’, for example.
Please check this webpage regularly for updates on our local events or visit the London wide travel awareness events calendar:
- 09th September 2008, 1130am - 2.30pm, Grand Union Canal Fest, Scrubs Lane, NW10 6QY, in the pocket park at Mitre Bridge - please visit www.parkroyal.org/transportevent for more information
Please contact Björn on 020 8753 2377 or bjorn.volk@lbhf.gov if your business or organisation would like to find out more about promoting walking to work
