How to Apply for Parking Bay Suspension

If you need to apply for a suspension of a parking bay in order to load or unload goods or materials, or move house, for longer than the permitted 20 minutes, please call 020 7371 5678 or email us. You can also apply in person at our Town Hall receptions at either Fulham Town Hall, Fulham Road, opposite Fulham Broadway station; or 3rd Floor, Hammersmith Town Hall Extension, King Street, Hammersmith. You should apply for a suspension a minimum of 8 days before it is required in order to allow for warning signs to be placed for 7 days. Applying for it does not mean we can automatically authorise it. We have to check that the spaces you have asked for have not already been booked either by another resident, a utility company or a filming company, that there is enough notice, and that the location is appropriate for the suspension. However, we will only contact you if there is a problem. You will know that your request has been authorised when the suspension signs are placed in the area 7 days before the suspension is due to take place.
A non-utility suspension is charged at £25 per 5 meter length of road per day, with a £55 administation charge. Payment is made in advance by telephone with a credit or debit card.
