How do I start using the smartPark system?

After you have registered, allow 24 hours for your account to be set up, then simply follow the quick reference guide provided to start smartPARKing.
Your smartPARK permit must be clearly displayed in the lower left hand corner of the windscreen of your nominated vehicle.
To Start Parking
- Find a suitable parking space and take note of any conditions that apply to the bay you are occupying (for example a maximum stay period). These can be found on the parking bay signs displayed in the street.
- Make a note of the letter denoting the parking zone that you are in e.g. Zone A, C, H, etc. and use the corresponding smartPARK code shown on the reverse of the quick reference guide, or on this list of smartPark codes.
- Call (020) 3003 2523 using the mobile registered against your smartPARK card, making sure that your number is not being withheld (i.e. ensure that your Caller ID is enabled).
- Follow the steps as instructed and wait for confirmation of your parking activation.
To Stop Park ing
- Once you have returned to your vehicle, you can then end your parking period by calling (020) 3003 2523. Your parking period will then end immediately. You may choose to wait to hear the duration and cost of your parking transaction.
- If you do not end your parking session by calling (020) 3003 2523, it will end automatically at the earlier of either (a) the end of the maximum stay period for the zone in which you are parked, or (b) at the end of the controlled parking operational hours for the zone in which you are parked.
- If you encounter a problem with activation/deactivation of your parking, call the Parkmobile helpdesk on 08442 488 050*.
