A smarter way to park in Hammersmith & Fulham

To improve our parking service for residents and businesses, we are testing electronic permits in controlled parking zones K and L, and now zone R.  If the trials prove successful, the electronic parking permit will be introduced to all zones in the borough over the following 12-15 months.

Benefits:

  • Renewing your parking permit will be easier, quicker and smarter – your permit details will be updated remotely and you won’t have to wait for a new permit to display in your vehicle.
  • Updating your permit (such as when you change vehicle) will be faster and easier - you will not need to return the electronic permit to us to update it. 
  • You can opt to use your new electronic permit as a cashless alternative to pay and display elsewhere in the borough, eliminating the need to carry change for parking and predict how long you need to park. You will also only pay for the time you need - by the minute.
  • Your new permit will provide much greater protection against fraud and misuse, thereby freeing up more spaces for genuine permit holders.

Cashless parking

Your new electronic permit can also act like a pay and display ticket in other controlled parking zones in the borough. All you need to do is register with Parkmobile, and then activate and deactivate the cashless parking element of your permit using your mobile phone. You do not need to buy a pay and display ticket, eliminating the struggle to find the correct change or the nearest pay and display machine.

In order to register to use cashless parking, call (020) 3003 2523 from your mobile phone. Please note that you will only be able to register on this number if caller ID is enabled on your handset (you will receive an advice message if caller ID is not enabled). For further assistance with registration, please call the Parkmobile helpdesk on 08442 488 050.

PLEASE NOTE: CASHLESS PARKING IS NOT AVAILABLE TO PARKMOBILE CUSTOMERS FROM OUTSIDE OF THE HAMMERSMITH & FULHAM BOROUGH, ONLY RESIDENTS FROM ZONES K, L AND R ARE ELIGIBLE.
