Crack house closed

Another crack house has been closed as the council continues to wage war on drugs and those who peddle them.
In a joint operation with the police and the drugs squad last month, a raid took place at Cheesemans Terrace, Sun Road, West Kensington. Once inside the H&F Homes property, officers found class A drugs paraphernalia along with four known drug users.
Cllr Greg Smith, cabinet member for crime and anti social behaviour, said: “We have a zero tolerance policy on drug dealing in H&F and I am delighted that this crack house has been closed. Drugs ruin lives and we will continue to hound dealers into submission. Let this be a message that this kind of behaviour is totally unacceptable.”
The raid took place after a number of neighbouring residents made complaints of drug use and dealing to the council’s safer communities team.
A crack house closure order has now been granted by West London Magistrates’ preventing any person from entering or living in the property for three months. The council will be working to ensure that the tenant is evicted permanently.
