Havana’s appeal date postponed

An appeal by a Fulham Broadway bar against a cut-back in its licensing hours has been postponed.

Fiesta Havana was due to have its appeal heard against Hammersmith & Fulham Council’s decision to cut back its licensing hours to 11pm at West London Magistrates Court in Hammersmith on February 4, 5 and 12 but it will now be heard in April.

The case will go ahead on April 6 and 16 at West London Magistrates Court, and then at Acton Magistrates Court on April 17.

Fiesta Havana was told in June last year that it would have to reduce its hours following a review hearing by the council’s licensing sub-committee. The Metropolitan Police applied for the review, on the grounds of the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety and the prevention of public nuisance.
