Pupils from Hurlingham and Chelsea School have added their support to the campaign to win South Park £400,000 by taking time out of lessons to plant crocus and daffodil bulbs.
More than 20 pupils from the school, on Peterborough Road, planted the bulbs around the perimeter of the park earlier this week (Monday December 15).
And the school has been busy urging pupils to vote online at www.london.gov.uk/parksvote.
Cllr Paul Bristow, cabinet member for residents’ services, said: “I’d like to thank Hurlingham and Chelsea School for planting the bulbs and for urging all of their pupils to make their vote count. There is still plenty of time to vote for either South Park or Hammersmith Park so make sure that you, your friends and family go online today.”
