Burst water main in Scrubs Lane

UPDATE: Friday 5 December at 2.20pm
Following a burst water main pipe, Scrubs Lane will be closed southbound until Monday 8 December while work to repair the road and footway is going on. This closure will be in place until Monday but could be in place until Wednesday 10 December.
Thursday 4 December at 2.10pm
There is a burst water main on Scrubs Lane outside No 13 close to the junction with Harrow Road. Thames Water and the police are dealing with the incident. The water has been shut off but the fault has yet to be found.
It is likely that the southbound road will have to be closed for two to three days as the damage to the road and pavement is quite significant and substantial repairs will be necessary once the broken main has been mended.
