The council’s Children’s Information Service is being revamped! And that only means good news for young people and families in the borough.
The service has always provided free, up to date and accurate information on childcare, services and activities for borough residents up to the age of 16.
However, as of this month, it will be called the Family Information Service and will be offering even more by extending the age range it supports to 19 year olds.
The service provides comprehensive information on a range of topics including childcare options, education, family support, children’s centres, extended services in schools, working and training in the childcare sector, libraries, leisure activities, special needs support and much much more!
For further information contact the helpline on 0845 313 3933 (calls charged at standard rate), email fis@lbhf.gov.uk or visit our pages on the council website www.lbhf.gov.uk/familyinformationservice.
Alternatively if you would like to speak to a Family Information Service officer in person please call the helpline to make an appointment, Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm. Address: Children’s Services reception, Cambridge House, Cambridge Grove, W6 0LE.
