Scrutiny on flooding

Thames Water officials have been called to a public meeting to report back on what steps they have taken to prevent homes in the borough flooding.
Many residents, particularly around Askew Road, Fulham Palace Road and central Hammersmith have been up to their knees in sewage a number of times over recent years and have been demanding answers from their water company.
Last year Hammersmith & Fulham Council called Thames Water in to answer residents’ questions and concerns. The Cleaner Greener Scrutiny Committee will be asking what has been achieved since then.
Doors open to the public at 7:00pm on 8 October at Hammersmith Town Hall, so do come along if you have questions or views on this.
