Olympic legend Mark Richardson will be the special guest of honour at Hammersmith and Fulham's Summer Festival of Sport.
Mark, who won a silver medal in the 400 metres relay at the 1996 Olympics will be signing autographs and meeting and greeting budding sports stars throughout the day at the event, held at the Linford Christie Outdoor Sports Centre on Sunday 31 August.
The day will comprise free sports and fun-packed activities for all the family in celebration of the centenary of the 1908 White City Olympics.
The site has been chosen as a London 2012 Olympic training venue and all the clubs that use it as their base will be holding training sessions and competitions as a taster of their annual programmes
These clubs include: London Nigerian Rugby Club, Chiswick Hockey Club, Thames Valley Harriers, Queens Park Rangers and Chelsea Football Club.
The Linford Christie Outdoor Sports Centre can be found on Artillery Way (off Du Cane Road), Wormwood Scrubs, W12.
