Shepherds Bush Green has been a buzz of music and performance over the past fortnight as residents and councillors got involved in festival fun.
Shepherds Bush Festival ran from July 19 to 27 and boasted a whole host of activities and events. There were funfair rides, a graffiti wall, live bands and singers, stage combat displays and amazing acts of escapology from Paul Tolhurst.
Residents were also able to taste multi-cultural food delights from around the world.
Cabinet Member for Culture & Heritage, Councillor Frances Stainton, said: “The festival is a celebration of Shepherds Bush and the area’s residents, and there has been something for everyone to enjoy.
“It has been the perfect way to spend a day, relaxing in the sunshine, going on fairground rides or watching some of the borough’s many talented entertainers perform, as well as seeing local business stalls. I would like to thank Irvin Leisure for their most welcome sponsorship which meant we could all enjoy the great tradition of the family fun fair rides.”
