Time for Fireworks

Hammersmith & Fulham really is the place to be if you want to see a fantastic firework display this November.

That is because, once again, the borough is fortunate to have not one, but two great Guy Fawkes celebrations taking place.

This year, the displays take place on Friday November 6 at Bishops Park, Fulham, and on Saturday November 7 at Ravenscourt Park, Hammersmith. The gates open for both events at 6pm, with children's fireworks taking place at 7.15pm. Both events will culminate with fantastic firework displays at 8pm (approx).

Cllr Paul Bristow, cabinet member for residents' services, said, "Our fireworks displays are amongst the best in London and which ever event you attend, you are sure to have a memorable time. The celebrations are perfect for families so make sure you bring your children along! It is an opportunity for the whole community to come together and enjoy a wonderful display in two of our finest parks."

Make sure you get to the parks early, as there will be no admittance after the displays start. There will also be no admittance to any vendors, and it is prohibited to bring your own fireworks, sparklers, alcohol or dogs.

At both displays there will be food and drinks stalls and a funfair, so make it a date and be prepared to be wowed!
