Over 1,000 students from schools and colleges in H&F next week are taking part in a Performing Arts Week based at the Lyric Theatre.

A gala concert in the Hammersmith theatre on June 30 is just one of the highlights of the borough-wide scheme. It begins at 7pm and will showcase music, dance, drama and art with choirs, orchestras, musical ensembles and steel pan bands from students aged 11 – 19.

There will also be a show for children from the borough’s primary schools on July 3 called The Talent Factor, which pupils have been rehearsing for since the Easter holidays.
