River clean up

A shopping trolley was among the items plucked from the river during a Cleaner Thames Challenge in Fulham.
About 100 volunteers donned their gloves and wellies on August 14 to clean rubbish from the river bank near Broomhouse Lane and Hurlingham Park.
The event was part of a regular London-wide river clean-up organised by waterways charity Thames21, with clean-up events also taking place in the Isle of Dogs.
