More than 20,000 people are likely to descend on Bishops Park and Ravenscourt Park in November for Hammersmith & Fulham (H&F) Council’s firework festivities.
The displays, which this year will have a Superhero theme, take place on Friday, November 1 at Bishops Park, Fulham and Saturday, November 2 at Ravenscourt Park, Hammersmith.
The gates will open at 6pm at both events and children's fireworks will take place at 7.15pm. The celebrations will culminate with a fantastic firework display choreographed to music at 8pm (approx).
Deputy Leader Cllr Greg Smith, said, "We realise how popular our firework displays are and we have been able to, once again, ensure that we host two large events this year in the face of reduced budgets. These events attract plenty of families and residents looking for a good time and it is an opportunity for the whole community to come together and enjoy a wonderful display in two of our finest parks."
Residents attending the events are reminded to arrive at the park early, as the gates will close at 7.45pm. There will also be no admittance to any vendors, and it is prohibited to bring your own fireworks, sparklers, alcohol or dogs to the event.
There will be plenty of fun to be had for all the family with funfair and food stalls so make it a date and be prepared to be wowed!
