GCSE results 2009: London Oratory

London Oratory School had an outstanding rise in results, hitting 94.5 per cent of pupils achieving five or more GCSEs at A*-C, including English and Maths – an increase of 11.8 per cent from last year. The results for five or more A*-C grades overall also went up – this time by seven per cent to 96.7 per cent.

Director of studies, Michael Sharman, was thrilled with the results. He said: “Congratulations to all of the boys on these excellent results. Through their hard work and the support of all our staff, we have achieved our best results in recent years.”
