Pupils from Lady Margaret School in Parson’s Green have been celebrating after scoring a 88.6 per cent pass rate at five or more grades A* to C, including English and Maths.
Sophie Leppington couldn’t contain her joy at getting six A*s and four As, and is now going on to study A Levels in Maths, biology, physics and chemistry. Lost for words, she could only manage a beaming smile and to say ‘I’m incredibly happy!’.
Her namesake Sophie Greenwood, also got As across the board with seven A*s and two As, said: “I’m crying with happiness and so is my mum. I’m now going to study PE, biology, geography and art at A Level.”
Richard Sanderson, deputy head, said: “We're delighted the girls have done extremely well again this year. They really are fantastic results!”
