Reun Thai SW6

For a tasty treat in Fulham Palace Road try family-run restaurant Reun Thai.
Open since 1999, the eatery has been a firm favourite with locals as well as the business lunch crowd. "The people who come here are the people who come back," says 33-year-old restaurant manager Molanapa Punboon.
"Our business is based on the long term so we haven't been hit by the recession as we have an established client base.
"There are lots of offices around here so we have our busiest times around lunch, when we do a special lunch menu which costs less."
Originally from Bangkok, five sisters and one brother run the cosy little restaurant which serves all the classic Thai dishes, including noodles, soups and curries.
Molanapa says: "Our dry red curry, (£7.30) is the most popular. For 80 per cent of the people who come in that's all they ask for. Our Pad Thai (£6.95) is another popular choice."
Molanapa lives with her older sister, the restaurant's owner, Jidarat Kertkeannarong, in Woodlawn Road, Hammersmith.
Jidarat, 44, says: "I saw the opportunity to start a Thai restaurant as there weren't any here at the time."
The family also caters for large groups and parties in the downstairs part of the restaurant.
