Askew Library events

The newly refurbished Askew Road Library hosted a Teddy Bear’s picnic recently.

More than 16 children and their carers helped sing 'Ten Green Teddies Hanging on the Wall' and other favourites and were then treated to a healthy picnic of organic biscuits and fruit.

Teddy bears Ted and Danger Mouse also joined in the singing and storytelling which all themed around bears.

Askew Road Library also hosts regular coffee mornings. Coming up, an Elkai Karate session, a talk about travels in Japan and a speaker from Advocacy for Independence.

Drop in each Wednesday 11am-12 noon for tea, coffee and biscuits, but most importantly fun and friendship.
