UK’s biggest council tax cut means bills are 20% lower
While a third of local authorities are proposing council tax rises this year, Britain’s biggest council tax cut has been agreed in Hammersmith & Fulham. Bills will be 3% lower in Hammersmith & Fulham (H&F) from April 2014 and 20% lower than eight years ago.
Heathrow bosses have agreed to explain their airport expansion plans face-to-face with Hammersmith & Fulham residents following pressure from the council. Hammersmith Town Hall, Wednesday March 12, 12noon-8pm.
The number of pupils from H&F being offered a place in a secondary school in the borough has gone up by 10 per cent in the last five years.
