Libraries - renewing and extending library items

You can renew most items up to four times (if no-one else wants them)

Renew online

To renew your library books online you need to log in to My Library with your library card number and a PIN (Personal Identification Number).

You can obtain a PIN by visiting one of our libraries or you can recover it online if you have already registered your email address with us. Forgot your PIN?

Please go to Using My Library for further information about renewing online.

Renew by phone

You can also renew items by ringing 0303 123 0035, our 24 hour automated telephone service. You will need your library membership number and PIN. If you do not have a PIN or cannot remember it you will need to go into your local library first.
