Libraries - renewing and extending library items
You can renew most items up to four times. If an item you wish to renew has been reserved by someone else you will not be able to renew it.
Please note: all membership cards have a two year expiry date and you will not be able to renew your items if the loan date exceeds the expiry date of your card. If your card expires please contact your local library. We will then check that all your details are still correct and extend your membership for another two years.
To renew your library books online you need to log in to My Library with your library card number and a PIN (Personal Identification Number).
You can obtain a PIN by visiting one of our libraries or you can recover it online if you have already registered your email address with us. Forgot your PIN?
Please go to Using My Library for further information about renewing online.
