London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham was one of the first London Boroughs to be awarded the Investors in People standard corporately in November 2001.

London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (LBH&F) has been committed to the spirit and letter of the Investors in People standard as an important element in its overall business performance and staff development strategy/plans since 1995.

In August 2004 the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, as a Corporate Investor in People, was recognised as continuing to meet the requirement of the National Standard for effective Investment in People.

Investors in People has strengthened the Council’s approach to the development of its people to meet business goals and is in line with the Council’s policy to embed and strengthen IiP principles even further into the organisation. This commitment to the continuous development of all Council staff is fully supported by the Corporate Management Team.
