Family Support & Child Protection
The Family Support and Child Protection Service is a key safeguarding service that deals with complex child care cases, providing child protection and support services to the most vulnerable children in the Borough.

Contact & Assessment
The Contact and Assessment Service is the one of the Council’s key safeguarding services. Based in central Hammersmith the team deals with all initial contacts and is responsible for conducting sound and effective assessments of vulnerable children. 

Basic Child Care Social Worker
£30,045 - £36,594                             
Ref Number: CS/E14457

You will be a qualified social worker with at least 6 months of UK experience and will be registered with the GSCC. You will be offered training and support to manage a controlled caseload of child protection and child in need cases.

Senior Child Care Social Worker  
£34,707 - £41,841      
Ref Number: CS/E115190

You will be a qualified, GSCC-registered social worker with at least 2 years of post-qualifying casework experience. Experience of working with child protection and child in need cases is essential.

Principal Social Worker 
£41,841 - £44,466  
Ref Number: CS/E30190

You will be a qualified, GSCC-registered social worker with at least 4 years post-qualifying case work experience in child protection. You will carry a reduced caseload of complex cases; have responsibility for coaching and mentoring less experienced staff and practice assessing and supervising social work students. This is an opportunity for a highly experienced practitioner to broaden their experience while remaining in practice.
