Hammersmith & Fulham Employment team runs a number of schemes to help people find work, see The Advice Centre Shepherds Bush


Work Zone

Work Zone, a National Skills Academy, is a recruitment, training and employment support facility, located within the Shepherds Bush Library on the southern terrace of Westfield London, helping retailers recruit and retain staff and helping job seekers find jobs, training and childcare. UPG

The Urban Partnership Group (UPG), a local regeneration agency, provides free information and advice about learning and work to adults aged 20 and over. UPG’s advisers, based at the Opportunities Centre, 370-376 Uxbridge Road, Shepherds Bush W12 7LL, run drop-in sessions from 10:00-13:00 and 14:00-17:30, Monday to Friday.

Specialist support

Specialist support is available to help ex-offenderspeople who are homeless and people with substance abuse problems  to look for work.

- People with substance abuse problems can contact Andy Shields at St Mungo's - details above.
- Homeseekers - people who are homeless can contact Andy Shields at St Mungo's on 020 8600 3065 (www.mungos.org).
