Employment Support for Homeseekers
Homeseekers who approach our housing options services can get help to find employment and training opportunities through our in-house employment support team, supported by the HELP initiative.
Why do we help?
We want you to benefit from an enhanced housing options service by being offered support, advice and access to education, training, skills development, child care and employment opportunities alongside housing options advice.
This approach aims to help you think through your medium-to-long term housing options, supporting you to develop a useful plan covering a broader range of personal and housing issues.
Being a borough of opportunity for all, and with this approach we aim to support H&F residents to have access to the widest possible range of housing options.
How do we help?
Through the West London Housing Employment Link Project, our employment support team, who are trained to discuss employment and skills training opportunities, helps homeseekers get personalised support to find employment and training opportunities.
