Finding a place to live in Hammersmith & Fulham

There are no easy solutions to finding a place to live in Hammersmith and Fulham where demand for housing significantly outstrips supply. There are 8,000 people on the council’s housing register and the borough has the fourth highest property prices and the fifth highest private sector rents in the country. Given these pressures we have developed these pages to provide you with the best possible advice on the housing options available.

Through these pages we aim to assist you to keep your existing home and where this is not possible to help you look for somewhere else to live by describing all the different types of accommodation available to you. Not all of these options are offered directly by Hammersmith & Fulham Council, but together we can work out what is best for you.
