Residential care

Moving to a residential or nursing care home is a major step. The information here will help you with some of the decisions you need to make so that you can feel confident about your future.

You may need to be admitted to a residential home on a temporary basis for respite or intermediate care.  You are entitled to up to eight weeks of respite a year and will not be charged for this care.
