Housing Support services

Housing Support Services provide support to permanent council tenants and to and those living in some forms of temporary accommodation. The team is managed from the Housing Centre in Glenthorne Road, although some staff are based in other offices.

Centrally based specialist workers support people living with mental illnesses, substance misuse and learning disabilities. In addition the centrally based teams offer support to young people and help is given to patients discharged from the Mental Health Unit of Charing Cross Hospital.

Generic support workers are based in area housing offices and provide support to council tenants with a variety of needs.
