Housing Performance Management
We monitor the performance of housing services, including Housing Management Services, to see where we are doing well and which areas need to improve. We do this by collecting performance indicators (PIs) for each service. Examples of our performance indicators:
- level of rent arrears as proportion of rent due;
- length of time to relet empty houses;
- number of homeless families placed in bed and breakfast.
We report monthly to senior managers in the department and six monthly to the Housing Scrutiny Committee and to the Deputy Leader of the council.
