Preventing homelessness - Outreach
Probation
Our Probation Liaison Housing Advice Worker takes referrals from the Probation Service or the Drug Interventions Project. They offer housing advice, liaise with the Probation Service and can refer clients to appropriate homeless prevention schemes
Education
Our Education Outreach Service is provided on our behalf by West London YMCA. It reaches out to children 14 years and up in their schools and youth clubs in order to educate them as to the grim realities of homelessness and to ensure that they know where to turn for help and advice should it befall them.
Hospital
Our Hospital Liaison officers work within hospitals to ensure that hospital discharges are properly co-ordinate. They are available to provide clients with housing advice, information about suitable housing options, and referrals to appropriate homeless prevention schemes.
