Energy efficiency grants and loans
Hammersmith and Fulham's Private housing and Occupational therapy services can assist owner-occupiers and private tenants who are over 60 or who are have disabilities with energy efficiency grants and loans.

Energywatch is the independent gas and electricity watchdog. Energywatch can contact your energy supplier to ensure you are placed on the Priority Services Register. Energywatch provides frees and impartial advice on how to change energy supplier, which supplier to choose and assists people who are having difficulty resolving problems with their suppliers

Solar for London
Solar for London is aimed at bringing affordable solar water heating systems into London homes. It is run by Sustainable Energy Action Ltd (a not-for-profit independent company) and RENUE (an environmental charity). It has 31 London Boroughs as partners.
Solar for London provides the following services to assist you in planning and installing a solar water heating system in your home:
- Professional, independent advice about solar water heating systems
- Bulk purchase, fixed discount prices on system components have been specially negotiated with leading UK manufacturers
- Solar for London can arrange a no obligation visit by a trained installer to survey your home’s suitability for a solar system and provide a quotation
- Bespoke design service if you have a particular situation that requires a specialist or unique design solution
- An established network of plumbers and heating engineers experienced in installing solar water heating systems. All installers follow a code of practice and quality assurance checks on installations are made regularly
