Garages

The service provided by the garage project team includes 

• Dealing with enquiries 
• Maintaining the waiting list   
• Lettings and sign ups for licences 
• Processing repairs 
• Dealing with rent arrears          

Repossession for non payment of rent and misuse. (garages should be used for parking vehicles only, they should not be used for storage or for operating a business)   

If you rent a garage or parking space, this will be an additional charge to your basic rent. If you are disabled, you can be given a parking place free of charge. If you are in rent arrears the council will not rent a garage or parking space to you.
