1. We welcome enquiries from people of all backgrounds and respond quickly to all enquiries. 

2. We value and celebrate the work of our carers and work closely with them to ensure children who cannot remain at home, either temporarily or permanently have good experience of family care 

3. We pay a competitive professional fee to foster carers of £180 per child per week and a weekly allowance to cover the cost of caring for each child.

4. We offer one-to-one advice/ support and guidance from a social worker as well as practical support and assistance from specialist health and education workers and a psychologist, regular parties for children, a carer’s newsletter, training on all aspects of social work and the chance to obtain a professional qualification, the NVQ, in caring for children. 

5. We have been recognised for the quality of our foster carer recruitment by the national Fostering Network, who asked us to contribute to their national guidelines on recruitment.

6. We use the National Adoption Register and are members of the West London and Westminster Adoption Consortium so we can share your details and increase the range of children we might match with you.

7. We regularly receive positive feedback from adopters and from the National Care Standards Commission.

8. We work with the charity, After Adoption, to provide information and support to anyone affected by adoption in the borough.
