Taxicard Scheme

The Taxicard Scheme is run by Hammersmith & Fulham Council and the Association of London Government. The scheme provides subsidised taxi transport for people who have serious mobility impairment and difficulty in using public transport. If you have a disability lasting for more than 12 months, you may qualify for a Taxicard

There is automatic entitlement if you are 

  • in receipt of the higher rate mobility supplement of Disability Living Allowance
  • in receipt of a war pension mobility supplement
  • registered as blind or severely visually impaired          

AND you are a

  • Resident of Hammersmith & Fulham Council    

The original certificate of entitlement or entitlement notice, proof of your permanent residence in the Borough and proof of identity will be required.

Applications will also be accepted from residents who have a permanent and substantial disability. These applications may require a mobility assessment. 

If you are eligible for a Taxicard your application form will be sent to the Association of London Government who will send you your membership card and details on how to use the scheme.
