Our programme offers a wide variety of courses throughout the year to meet yours or your staff needs, we suggest you make them part of your on going appraisal processes to really add value.
How to book
Our booking system is now online, and some of our policies in relation to late attendance and cancellation have been amended. We therefore recommend that you read pages 12-17 of the training brochure. How you access the booking system varies depending on where you work. Please pay close attention to the information below.
Local authority staff
Local authority staff can only access the Learning Centre when connected to their council network. Use the Learning Centre link, and then make sure you select the relevant council listed near the middle of the screen.
Non local authority staff
Non LA staff must first create a new user account - the create an account button is on the right of the screen.
Please note: Please ensure you provide an individual email address rather than a generic or shared inbox address (eg Alice@wonderland.co.uk not email@example.com)
Managers will not be able use their own email address to apply for courses on behalf of their colleagues.
In all cases it is your responsibility to ensure you provide the correct information.

Have you tried "Bite Size" Learning?
The guides below use short scenario-based learning to give managers a way to explore how staff engage with service users. It allows you tackle particular topics that you feel staff would benefit from spending extra time on.
