Rubbish, waste and recycling

Refuse and recycling collection days

Check your collection day: Enter your postcode in the Myh&f search or view our map and street list pdf.

We now collect your refuse and recycling at the same time. Please check your collection day and put your refuse and recycling out for collection either after 9pm on the evening before your collection day, or before 6am on your collection day. Refuse and recycling should be put in your front garden or outside your property where it is clearly visible. Please put refuse out in strong refuse sacks or dustbins. Please do not use flimsy carrier bags, kitchen bin liners or put loose items out for collection.

Bank holiday collections

There will be no changes to rubbish and recycling collection days on any bank holiday with the exception of Christmas day, Boxing day and New Years day.

For more information contact the Cleaner Greener hotline on 0208 753 1100 or cleaner.greener@lbhf.gov.uk.

Recycling

We'd like to say a big "thank you" to all residents who recycle, helping us reduce the quantity of rubbish we have to send to landfill, and so, helping to keep council tax bills down.
