Recycling in Schools
Smart Schools
We offer one Smart Bank free of charge to schools and offer to substitute one of their refuse bins for another Smart Bank so schools can recycle all their used paper, cardboard, drink cartons, mixed glass, tins, cans, aerosols and plastic bottles.
There are currently over 60 schools who have been provided with recycling banks. If your school would like to introduce recycling or increase the number of Smart Banks, please contact the Cleaner Greener Hotline on 020 8753 1100 and we will arrange a site visit to check there is a suitable place to put the banks.
