‘White City / World City’

London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham (LBHF) and the Mayor of London (GLA) together with Transport for London (TfL) are producing a planning framework for the White City Opportunity Area.

The framework will help guide development within the Opportunity Area and will be taken into account in deciding planning applications. It will supplement planning policies in the LBHF Development Plan and the London Plan.

The Draft White City Opportunity Area Planning Framework prepared by the Council and the GLA has just finished the first round of public consultation which ran from April to June 2011. We are currently working through the comments received and will consider each comment made on the draft. We will publish a schedule of changes that we propose to make to the document as a result of the comments and representations received. A second round of public consultation is scheduled for Autumn 2011 for the next draft, which will respond to the comments received and will make any changes which the Council and the GLA consider appropriate.
