Have your say on the future proposals for South Fulham Riverside

Statutory public consultation on the second draft for the South Fulham Riverside SPD is taking place for six weeks from Friday 30 March until 5pm Friday 11 May 2012.

The South Fulham Riverside Area is one of five regeneration areas within the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham identified under the adopted Core Strategy (2011). London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham have produced a draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) for South Fulham Riverside to provide guidance on the way in which the area should be regenerated and developed over the next 20 years. The draft SPD will also be taken into account when deciding planning applications.

First Round of Public Consultation

The first round of public consultation on the draft SPD took place between the 8th April – 20th May 2011. All the comments received have been fully considered in the preparation of the second draft of the SPD. Second Round of Public Consultation

The second draft of the SPD has also been updated to incorporate the following;

• Updated planning guidance including The London Plan 2011 and the Core Strategy 2011.
• A new section, (Chapter 14) has now been included providing details of the outcome from the Delivery Infrastructure Funding (DIF) study. This considered the necessary infrastructure required to accommodate the proposed growth in homes and jobs in the area and an assessment of the extent to which development could fund this having regard to viability.
• An Equality Impact Assessment and Sustainability Appraisal are now available for comment during this second round of consultation.
