Old Oak Common
The council encourages the redevelopment of land at Old Oak Common railway sidings for a major mixed use development including industrial, research, distribution, office based and bio-tech industries related to the Hammersmith Hospital research centre.
In doing so, the council is pressing for the site to be used as a future Crossrail station and West London hub for a national High Speed Rail Link to Heathrow airport. The regeneration of this area, which forms part of the Park Royal industrial estate, has the long term potential to bring 5,000 new jobs and 3,000 extra homes.
