Areas of Special Advertisement Control
There is currently one Area of Special Advertisement Control in the borough which was designated in 1968 and covers most of The Mall Conservation Area. Additional restrictions on the display of advertisements apply in this area.

Regulation 7 Directions restricting display of estate agent boards
Controls on the display of estate agent advertising boards were introduced in November 2006 in part of the Barons Court Conservation Area and part of the Lakeside/Sinclair/Blythe Road Conservation Area. Further controls are to be introduced on 5th October 2010 in parts of the following Conservation Areas: Gunter Estate, Hammersmith Grove, Moore Park, Olympia & Avonmore, Parsons Green and Walham Green.
